New 2016 dates for encaustic art classes

Have you tried encaustic art before? If so why not consider booking a place on the encaustic art  class?

Come as a group of 3-6 friends as part of a  day out or contact Sue to join a planned workshop

These take place at Yealand Conyers LA5 9SH and cost £10 per person to include basic materials, tea/coffee and scone.

Waxy Wednesdays

I am organising these on one Weds of each month 2-4pm. They will be in the studio so numbers will be limited to 5. Please book in advance The cost will be £10 per session including use of equipment, wax and card and tea/coffee and biscuits/scones. There may be additional materials costs for some session(see below)

7th Sept 2016 -prints with encaustic -autumn leaves, textures, rubber stamps with wax etc (involves use of hotplate and can be done on fabric))

19th Oct 2016 – tissue paper fun.There are lots of ways to incorporate different types of tissue papers. We will explore different ideas.

9th Nov 2016 -Christmas card ideas.

14th Dec 2016 – what can I make for Christmas present? coasters, key rings, boxes(charge at cost price for coasters , key rings, boxes etc..)

11th Jan 2016 – flowers on canvas-bring a canvas or I can provide one at cost.

Feb- date to be confirmed (holiday dates unclear) -make a simple book with encaustic art cover .

March – working on landscapes

Future workshops depending on interest.

We might also have a ‘playday’ working on our own projects but helping each other with ideas etc. £5 for the day and materials at cost. Date to be agreed. Let me know if you are interested.
